VIM Xịt Xịt Xả - Sa Thải Vi Khuẩn

Most people clean their bathrooms once a week. Bacteria, however, don't take weekends off. Starting from that single uncomfortable truth, The Urgency built Fire The Bathroom Bacteria - a campaign for VIM Xịt Xịt Xả that reimagined bathroom germs as overachieving employees who needed to be fired, daily. What began as a strategic provocation became a nationwide social movement, a viral TikTok dance, and ultimately a real-time sales event - landing VIM in Vietnam's Top 10 BSI for March 2026.

Opening the Bacteria Layoff Chain

Before VIM said a word about the product, we let the bacteria do the talking. We designed and distributed a series of bacteria CVs - absurd, detailed resumes showcasing their standout skills: spreading, sticking, and causing trouble full-time. Posted across streets during recruitment season and seeded across Threads and Facebook, the CVs made people stop and laugh - then stop and think. Bacteria aren't just there occasionally. They're actively applying for permanent residency in your bathroom, every single day.

Igniting the Layoff Movement

With attention earned, we dropped the antidote. A TikTok-driven MV, fronted by S(TRONG) Trọng Hiếu with an original song built around VIM's 3-step ritual, introduced the world to the Spray Spray Flush dance - where every move in the choreography represented another bacterium losing its job. The routine was contagious by design. Creators, dancers, families, and comedians remixed the track, recreated the dance, and shared their own firing moments - turning a product usage habit into a participatory social movement that kept bathroom bacteria firmly unemployed.

Expanding the Layoff Nationwide

When the movement hit its peak, we converted it. Hijacking Unilever's own livestream format, The Urgency produced the Bacteria Layoff Ceremony - a full Shoppertainment event co-hosted with beloved comedian Lê Dương Bảo Lâm. As creators fired bacteria live on screen with theatrical flair, audiences could purchase VIM and bring the firing ritual into their own homes in real time. Sales moved within two hours, closing the loop from cultural moment to commercial result.
